When you order or enquire, we collect the details needed to fulfil your request: your name, email address and phone number, the recipient's name and delivery address, and the gift note you ask us to write.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and we never see or store them.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us so we can recognise you. We do not receive your Google password.

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, respond to enquiries, send order and shipping updates, and, where you have opted in, send our newsletter and occasional updates.

We share your information only with the services needed to fulfil your order, such as payment processors and shipping carriers. We never sell your personal information.

Your information is stored with the providers that run our site and services: Base44 (our website and order records), Stripe (payments) and Flodesk (email). Some of these providers store data overseas, and each has its own privacy and security safeguards.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations under Australian law.

If you join the Considered Few, you consent to receiving our emails, which we send through Flodesk. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information. To ask for a copy of your data, or to be deleted, email us at hello@theconsideredgift.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
